Joplin Police Department identify victim in Friday night train vs pedestrian fatality

JPD UPDATE>>> TRAIN vs PEDESTRIAN FATALITY   •  JPD official media release  •  #JLNews exclusive images @JOPLINPD         On December 21, 2018 at 11:31pm the Joplin Police Department responded to the area of 15th and Michigan for a train vs pedestrian fatality. ​       A southbound train cleared the intersection crossing of 15th and Indiana and encountered a female on the tracks approximately 200 feet south. The female was struck and killed by the train. Detectives responded to investigate the death. ​       This morning next of Kin was notified. The deceased is identified as Arielle S. Graddy-Ideker, 27, Joplin. ###
