(64804) — Work continues on the Connecticut Ave bridge and the Westbound I-44 lanes are closed tonight.

     “Westbound I-44 will be CLOSED tonight (April 17) between exits 6 & 8 beginning at 9:30 in Joplin while contractor crews set girders for the new Connecticut Avenue bridge. Joplin Police Department confirm that it was a vehicle rollover and one person has been transported to an area hospital.  

Avoid this area if possible to avoid traffic delays.
